WE’RE BACK! Dubai giving back to the boys in blue. Volunteers and fellow local restaurants see below to sign up
What is it?
Dubai’s homegrown restaurants team up to provide iftar, for the whole of Ramadan to labourers working the evening shifts.
More than providing iftar, it’s a time for the workers, residents, and local restaurants to work together.
How does it work?
Each evening, one homegrown restaurant provides their food to a construction site (TBC, in Al Barsha or Al Quoz)
Volunteers help hand out the food and drinks. We will aim to have restaurants pledge every night of Ramadan (except Fridays).
How do I take part?
Local restaurants: Fill out the form on the left, and select a free slot on the calendar. We are especially asking homegrown startups like us so we can give these boys something special.
Volunteers: Sign up using this link Filling The Blues SIgn-Up Schedule
Location: TBC (Al Barsha or Al Quoz)
Timings: Setup starts at 5pm, then we just hand out the food as the guys start clocking out, they take their iftar packs pack to camp.
